Job Description

This is an opportunity to be a key contributor at an innovative, market-making, fast-growing health research organization. You will be focused on pipeline development activities with life science companies for the implementation of HROs within patient-focused drug development and real-world evidence research. As a Business Development Representative, you identify, and conduct direct outreach to build the foundation of life science partnerships for Folia’s patient centered research programs.

We have successfully established many enterprise partnerships, and we’re now looking to expand. Your initial focus will be to assist with the development of our pipeline through establishing new relationships with prospects and aiding in the qualification of these potential partners. You’ll be joining our tight-knit team, and will be working directly with senior Commercial leadership. This role has the option to work either primarily remotely and/or in-person (hybrid) at our Boston headquarters. The position will initially be a contract based role, with the ability to transition to full-time in the future. Contract duration, compensation, and incentives will be commensurate with experience. 

Qualifications

  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills

  • Experience with BD & CRM software (e.g., Hubspot, SalesForce, Yesware, etc.)

  • Ability to drive outbound lead generation and qualified meetings through a process-driven approach using phone, email, and other methods

  • Experience achieving quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities, both in terms of activity quota and qualified/converted opportunities

  • Use data-driven metrics for evaluating and improving the impact of your outreach efforts

  • Interest in leading the development of a clear partnership framework and repeatable sales motion as Folia grows

Environment

  • This role has the option to work either primarily remotely or in-person on a hybrid schedule at our Boston headquarters

Compensation

  • Contract duration, compensation, and incentives will be commensurate with experience

  • We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas
